My name is Eddie Guerra, and I joined the military in 2015 as the first person in my family to serve. I raised my hand knowing my service could help my mother get legal status, but it became about something even bigger. Honoring my parents' sacrifices and building a future they dreamed of. When I left home, the military community became my second family. And with that came a reality too many of us face. Constant moves, housing uncertainty, and almost no clear guidance on how to use one of our most valuable benefits, the VA loan. I know that frustration firsthand. I asked questions and couldn't get straight answers.

I made it my mission to learn, to become a resource for others and to use the VA loan to buy two homes with zero down. That wasn't just about owning property. It's about breaking a cycle. Too many military families serve for years without ever being shown how this benefit can create stability, equity and opportunity for the next generation. We already sacrifice so much in service. My mission now is to help that same military family I leaned on. Not just find a place to live, but plant roots, build wealth, rewrite what's possible for their future. That's what drives me, changing the trajectory for families who deserve to come home to more.
